With this post we want to give you a quick overview about what happened since we have launched Scanbot 4 on the 27th of August 2015.iOS:We invested a lot of time to improve the initial implementation of workflows and quick actions and to iron out small but pesky bugs. Furthermore we have of course made Scanbot compliant with iOS 9. But we didn't stop there but we have implemented the complete 3D Touch functionality making use of this exciting feature from Apple. So if you are the lucky owner of an iPhone 6S you can now:Instantly start scanning single or multipage documents, scan a QR code or start a search with the new Quick Actions feature.Peek inside documents and perform common actions without having to go back and forth. As detailed in an earlier update we have also added barcode recognition for the most popular types of barcodes (for details please refer to the post below).Android:We have added a completely redesigned onboarding, explaining the features of Scanbot better to new users. Additionally we have redesigned the settings screen to make it easier for users to actually find the setting they want to change, of course this is implemented following the material design guidelines. We also have new quick settings while scanning to toggle QR code detection, auto snapping and more. Moreover we have developed a lot of fixes and increased the number of devices on which Scanbot will run even further.Currently, for both operating systems, we are working on a feature which many users have requested persistently. It will still take some time but we hope we can release it soon. This will definitely make the life of many users simpler. Can you guess which feature we are currently developing? As always if you have any questions or feedback we would love to hear from you! You can contact us directly from Scanbot (Settings → Support) or via email to support@scanbot.io.
