U SA - Domino's Pizza has officially joined DoorDash Marketplace, initiating a collaboration where orders placed through the platform will be delivered by Domino's own drivers throughout the US. This strategic partnership between Domino's and DoorDash is designed to enhance delivery efficiency and expand the reach of Domino's offerings, allowing customers to order from their local Domino's store directly through the DoorDash marketplace. This collaboration will ensure that Domino's maintains its signature delivery experience, combining the convenience of DoorDash's expansive platform with the reliability of Domino's robust delivery network. The pilot phase of the partnership is currently operational in select locations, with plans for a broader rollout set to begin in the US in May 2025. Following that, the collaboration will extend to Canada later in the year. Joe Jordan, Domino's US Chief Operating Officer and President, expressed excitement about the potential for this partnership, noting the scale that the two companies bring together. " Our new partnership with DoorDash brings together the scale of our two industry-leading companies as we continue to build towards the US$1bn opportunity that we believe the aggregator marketplace represents for us ," Jordan said. By tapping into DoorDash's extensive customer base, Domino's aims to drive incremental sales, particularly in suburban and rural markets, where there is a significant opportunity to reach new customers. Customers using the DoorDash app will be able to enjoy a seamless ordering experience, complete with real-time GPS tracking, ensuring they can monitor their deliveries, which will be handled by uniformed Domino's drivers. In addition, subscribers to DoorDash's DashPass service will benefit from unlimited free delivery and reduced service fees on orders over US$12 from Domino's, further enhancing the appeal of this partnership for frequent customers. Prabir Adarkar, DoorDash President and Chief Operating Officer, shared his excitement about the collaboration, emphasizing DoorDash's unmatched scale and reach. " By joining forces, we're bringing customers a new choice in the rapidly growing pizza category ," Adarkar said, reinforcing the benefits for both brands in expanding their market presence. However, this partnership comes on the heels of a legal settlement DoorDash reached in February 2025 with the New York Attorney General's office. DoorDash agreed to a US$17 million settlement after allegations surfaced that the company had misappropriated tips intended for its delivery workers, known as Dashers, between May 2017 and September 2019.
