Schnuck Markets has formed a new partnership with last-mile delivery service DoorDash, which will now feature the St. Louis-based grocer on the DoorDash Marketplace, the two companies announced Tuesday. Schnucks will also accept payments made with Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) dollars on the DoorDash Marketplace, Schnucks said. "Our new partnership with DoorDash helps us reach our customers where and when it's most convenient for them," said Schnucks Senior Director of Digital Experience Chace MacMullan. "While being able to accept SNAP/EBT benefits as a part of DoorDash orders helps bring our shoppers fresh, affordable food on demand." DoorDash also is offering a one-year discounted membership to its loyalty program, DashPass, for recipients of SNAP/EBT. The grocery chain, founded in 1939, is among the largest private grocery chains in the country and operates 114 stores across Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin.
