The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is purportedly going to make a final decision between today and December 1st regarding allowable perchlorate levels in tap water, according to a document leaked to the Washington Post. Perchlorate, one of the components of rocket fuel, has been linked to thyroid problems in pregnant women, newborns and young children - resulting in a loss of IQ and an increase behavioral and perception problems.
