The past year has been an exciting one for Broadway in Downtown LA. The opening of exciting new retailers along with announcements for other exclusive fashion-forward stores has pushed the historic corridor's revitalization forward. Continuing this momentum along Broadway, local Los Angeles developer King's Arch recently debuted its beautiful re-imagining of 537 S. Broadway, an art deco gem that is now home to flexible creative office and ground floor retail space. Built in 1931, the 6-story structure was designed by Walker & Eisen, one of LA's most talented and prolific building design firms of the 1920's and 30's. Originally constructed to meet the specifications of its first tenant, F&W Grand Silver Stores (pictured below), the building is notable for its gleaming gold exterior accents, which King's Arch has meticulously restored to its original grandeur.
