DXC Technology has hired former Connetico CEO Michelle Bendschneider as its Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) industry general manager of banking and financial services, taking over from Stephen Wooldridge.Bendschneider will be based in Melbourne to look over the global service provider's banking and financial services portfolio across the region, shaping strategic initiatives and supporting clients.Meanwhile, Wooldridge has moved into consulting and data and AI.Bendschneider takes up the post with over 25 years of experience, with her previously being CEO of business group Connetico - which includes specialist Microsoft partner Arinco - from March 2023 to July 2024. According to DXC, she has experience in leading technology transformations, professional services consulting practices, product teams and holding general management positions with full P&L accountability across organisations.Aside from DXC and Connetico, Bendschneider worked at IBM for over 13 years and Telstra for 5 years, as well as spending time at Spirit Technology Solutions, PaperCut Software and Comparex Design Engineers.She has also held technology-focused roles at Commonwealth Bank, Boston Consulting Group and Philip Morris International.On her appointment, Bendschneider said she will be "working with a world class team to drive innovation, deliver exceptional value to our customers and shape the future of financial technology together".
