Makes 4 patties... Great for barbecues and get-togethers this Memorial Day! -Genevieve IngredientsFor Patties:1 lb grass-fed lean ground sirloin½ tsp salt½ tsp black pepperFor toppings:1 ½ avocadoes¼ cup red onion, chopped¼ cup roma tomato, diced1 T fresh lime juice½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped½ tsp ground cumin½ jalapeno, choppedSalt and pepper to taste1 cup alfalfa sprouts4 radishes, sliced4 whole grain bunsDirectionsPreheat grill to medium-high heat.In a large mixing bowl, combine ground sirloin with salt and pepper until just combined. Don't overmix or the burgers will be tough. Form into 4 equal sized patties. Set aside.In a separate bowl, roughly mash avocado with a fork, then add in onion, tomato, cilantro, jalapeno, lime and spices. Set aside.Place burgers on grill. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until your desired level of doneness. To limit char, cook at a lower temperature, for longer, and coat grill with foil. Remove from grill and set aside to sit.Open buns and place on grill to toast for about 1 minute.Place a heaping amount of alfalfa sprouts and sliced radishes on bottom bun, place burger over sprouts, top with guacamole and top bun.Relax and enjoy!
