After designing the Mattole Restoration Council website last summer, we were contacted by another Mattole River watershed organization, the Sanctuary Forest. Sanctuary Forest is a land trust whose mission is to conserve the Mattole River watershed and surrounding areas for wildlife habitat and aesthetic, spiritual and intrinsic values, in cooperation with our diverse community.One of the unique features of the Sanctuary Forest website is a water flow graphic (similar to fire danger signs) that is featured on the home page.
