Edelstein & Company: Alan Edelstein, founder of Boston accounting firm, dies at 92

Alan Edelstein, who founded the Boston accounting firm that bears his name 50 years ago this year, died last week at the age of 92. Edelstein & Co. is now one of the 25 largest accounting firms in Massachusetts, but it started in 1968 when Edelstein, a lawyer-turned-accountant, decided to hang his own shingle.
