Although they could benefit from it immensely, the SMB sector is lagging greatly in the process of adopting SIP trunking infrastructures. It may be that service providers have had limited success positioning SIP trunking as a viable option within their marketing materials – or it may be that they were once among the 80% of companies who have experienced problems with SIP trunking in the past. Either way, service providers need to use a new marketing language to sell SIP trunking services to their customers.
