Marriott Vacations Worldwide closed its $23.5 million acquisition of the Edgewater Hotel South Beach and will renovate the property through 2016. The Orlando-based timeshare arm of Marriott International (NYSE: VAC) bills the condo hotel as at 1410 Ocean Dr. as one of the most iconic and historic properties on the block.
