Emmy's Organics Blog Emmy's Macaroons are now COCONUT COOKIES!

After many years of selling our signature macaroons, we have decided to change the name to Coconut Cookies! The recipe hasn't changed, our process hasn't changed, just the name. There are two main reasons for this change so we wanted to keep you in the loop:1. Not everyone knows what a Macaroon is! Over the years we have always answered the question "What's a Macaroon?" What do we answer? "It's a Coconut Cookie!" We feel this name change puts the guessing out of the equation and we want people to know what the product is right away.2. We are out to change the stigma around cookies! Ever since the very start, we have been committed to providing healthier options to people. Our product IS a cookie, a #cleancookie. If people replaced our products with the regular cookies they are eating, we are doing our job by cutting chemicals, preservatives and processed ingredients out of the food chain.
