Friday, October 28th was the University of Delaware's Business Leaders Breakfast held at Daugherty Hall. Students were selected from among 350 applicants to the University of Delaware's new Delaware Innovation Fellows Program (DIF), a selective enrichment program for creative, innovative and entrepreneurial students from any major. Linda Farquhar was invited to speak with the students and provided them with an opportunity to benefit from her experience and wisdom while also learning about entreDonovan. Linda was seated with an initial group of 5-6 first-year students, all of whom listed her as their first or second choice among business leaders who were attending. entreDonovan was honored to participate. The 40 freshman Fellows already have some exciting ideas and energy! The DIF program is part of an overall effort by University of Delaware's Horn Program in Entrepreneurship to 1.) attract creative, innovative and entrepreneurial students to all University of Delaware majors, (2.) offer them exceptional learning opportunities and (3.) connect them with the broader community to increase the likelihood that they will add to the pool of innovative human capital in and around Delaware. The DIF students represent all 7 colleges and more than 25 majors.Members of the 2016-20 cohort have already created successful websites, become certified in advanced business applications, and shown their creative side with cutting edge graphic design and photography.
