Envision: Envision shows off $3.1M research institute

Envision on Thursday unveiled its Gigi and Carl Allen Envision Research Institute, a $3.1 million facility that is dedicated to research on blindness and visual impairment. The organization wants to position itself as an international leader in low-vision and blindness research, according to a Wichita Eagle report. The institute has been operating for more than a year, but hasn't had a permanent home.
