Ericsson: Ericsson Q1 sales slide as telcos dial down capex

As per its quarterly earnings statement, Ericsson announced its first programmable network in Asia-Pacific with Telstra; agreed on a multi-year core modernisation with One New Zealand, while announcing a 5G core partnership with Airtel. Ericsson CEO Borje Ekholm said the company "sustained solid momentum" in Q1, despite a challenging and fast changing macro backdrop, with the results highlighting the company's competitiveness.
