ERMCO: Raleigh's GridBridge acquired by Tennessee manufacturer

A Raleigh firm looking to power everything from spaceships to electrical grids has been acquired. GridBridge is being bought out by Dyersburg, Tennessee-based ERMCO, a manufacturer of distribution transformers and transformer components. GridBridge CEO Chad Eckhardt declined to disclose the financials behind the deal, saying "it's a good deal for employees, for our customers and for our investors."
