Falcon Drilling Co. LLC is buying three new rigs for drilling in the Marcellus and Utica shales. Financial terms for the 250-ton MD Cowan Super Singles weren't disclosed, nor were the names of the sellers. But Falcon said in a prepared statement that the rigs were being used in northeastern Pennsylvania. Pittsburgh-based Falcon will now have 13 rigs in the Marcelllus and Utica in West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
