FELCOR: Vinoy owner votes to merge with another REIT
The real estate investment trust that owns the Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club has agreed to merge with another REIT. Shareholders of both FelCor Lodging Trust (NYSE: FCH), which now owns the Vinoy, and RLJ Lodging Trust (NYSE: RLJ) approved the merger Tuesday. The deal establishes a $7 billion hospitality REIT.
