FGF Brands: $129M, 600-job bakery coming to the West Side

The San Antonio City Council approved an incentive package Thursday that will bring a new, 600-job bakery to town. Toronto-based FGF Brands has promised to invest $129 million in building the plant, which will be on land that the city is granting to the company. The lot is a 100-acre site on the city's West Side near the intersection of Texas Highway 151 and South Callaghan Road.
