Biometrics company Fingerprint Cards has entered into a new distribution agreement with SM Electronic Technologies (SMET) in India to strengthen its market presence. The partnership covers the distribution of Fingerprint's fingerprint and iris technology and aims to meet the growing demand for secure biometric solutions in areas such as finance, health and the public sector. No financial details were provided. SMET's strong distribution network and deep understanding of the local market will play a crucial role in driving the adoption of Fingerprint's biometric solutions in India. This partnership will enable us to better serve existing and new customers in India and provide them with the latest biometric technology to enhance security and convenience," said Fingerprint Cards CEO Adam Philpott.
Fingerprints is a Sweden-based biometric company that designs and develops biometric systems and fingerprint sensors for mobile devices, PCs and contactless payments.
