Forensic Logic: COPLINK Sold By IBM To Forensic Logic

COPLINK, an information sharing platform for the law enforcement industry which was originally developed at the University of Arizona and was most recently owned by IBM--and which is headquartered in Tucson--has been sold to Forensic Logic. Financial terms of the sale were not announced. COPLINK was created in 1998 at the University of Arizona. COPLINK's software is used by law enforcement to search a wide range of databases for mugshots, criminal records, and more to help generate tactical leads and solve crimes. Forensic Logic is based in Silicon Valley, and is backed by Mainsail Partners.
