Three more small city newspapers changed hands in transactions in late December.The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner and its sister Alaska paper, the Kodiak Daily Mirror are being bought by a non-profit foundation in a deal expected to close early this year.Also, the Fredericksburg Free Lance-Star has been acquired by BH Media, a part of Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway empire.Terms were not disclosed for either transaction, though a private equity firm bought the Free Lance-Star from family owners in 2014 for $30.2 million after a bankruptcy proceeding.BH Media has slowed the pace of acquisitions since absorbing Media General's newspapers in 2012.
