Overall, it was a good experience. I played 36 holes and they were definitely 2 different results. The first 18 holes on the South Course was great ball-striking wise, but putting was another story. The greens at Colonial Country Club are Bermuda grass and that is an entirely different kind of putting compared to the Bent grass that we have. I struggled with reading them and playing the right amount of grain on the putts. It is a technique that many learn that grow up playing on this type of grass and I have not had much experience on them. I ended up shooting 78 on the South course with 4 bogeys and a double. The North course was the shorter, easier course of the two. I shot 68 on that course with 4 birdies and 1 bogey. The greens on the North were softer and not as grainy. I did learn a lot playing in this tournament and it should go a long ways to helping me for the PGA Professional National Championship in a few weeks. Thanks again for all the support and words of encouragement.Brian
