NEWS ABOUT OUR VOLUNTARY RECALL ORIGINAL TACO SKILLET SAUCE WITH A "BEST BY" DATE OF "13 APR 17"Dear Customers,As you may be aware from the FDA website, Frontera is voluntarily recalling a total of 720 (8 oz.) packages of our Frontera Texas Original Taco Skillet Sauce WITH A "BEST BY" DATE OF "13 APR 17" because it contains undeclared soy.PLEASE NOTE:Other production dates of Frontera Texas Original Taco Skillet Sauce ARE NOT AFFECTED.Our recalled Frontera Texas Original Taco Skillet Sauce packages were only distributed tothe District of Columbia and the following 11 states: Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia and Vermont.The recalled product went to specific retail stores. Please call us for a list of stores.We voluntarily recalled the product after we discovered that the label on the product did not accurately reflect the ingredients. We have since corrected the problem and initiated corrective actions to prevent its reoccurrence.People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to soy may run the risk of an allergic reaction if they consume this product. No illnesses have been reported to date and there are no other safety concerns for people who do not have a soy allergy.The product comes in a printed 8 oz. pouch that is marked with a "BEST BY" date of "13 APR 17" on the bottom of the back side of the package.The UPC code for the recalled product is: 6-04183-12170-7.Customers who have purchased packages of Frontera Texas Original Taco Skillet Sauce with a "BEST BY" date of "13 APR 17" are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a refund.Please call with questions at (800) 509-4441, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, CST.
