GE Transportation: Union workers strike at Wabtec's newly acquired Erie plant

After efforts failed to come to an interim agreement between union workers and Wabtec Corp., which completed its merger with GE Transportation on Monday, UE Locals 506 and 618 began a strike at 5 a.m. Tuesday, according to a news release.
