Globe Composite: St. Louis company buys Stoughton-based submarine parts maker

ESCO Technologies Inc. has acquired Globe Composite Solutions, a supplier of engineered composite products for naval, defense and industrial customers that's based about an hour south of Boston. Globe, which projects calendar-year 2019 sales of about $37 million, will become part of St. Louis-based ESCO's filtration operating segment, officials said in a release Tuesday.
