Gokartlabs: Minneapolis-based GoKart Labs acquired, brand will 'sunset' by end of year

Local company GoKart Labs has been acquired by Chicago-based West Monroe Partners, a move that will likely mean the end of the GoKart brand. Don Smithmier, a GoKart Co-founder and CEO, said the GoKart brand would stick around until the end of 2019, when it will be sunset.
