The refreshed GoPro Max 360 model is now available to pre-order in Malaysia. To recap, it is an updated version of the brand's 360-degree action camera, featuring a redesigned mounting system and a removable Enduro battery. Of course, it also comes with software enhancements, expanding its functionality for content creators. The new GoPro Max 360 now supports all standard 1/4-20 tripod mounts, making it easier to attach to a variety of accessories. This tripod mount is positioned beneath the folding fingers, and it also supports the invisible selfie stick effect during post editing. As for image quality, the newer model retains its predecessor's 5.6K video resolution. As mentioned earlier, another key hardware upgrade is the inclusion of the MAX Enduro Battery support, which offers a 1,960mAh capacity. It can also operate in extreme conditions, enabling the camera to run in temperatures as low as -10°C. Software-wise, the GoPro Quik app now offers AI-powered subject tracking to automate framing during post-shoot editing. It also adds new CameraFx options, filter effects, and advanced digital lens settings adjustable via keyframes or automatic transitions. For desktop editors, GoPro has introduced the Reframe plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, while GoPro Premium and Premium+ subscribers benefit from unlimited cloud storage and the ability to edit 360 videos directly from the cloud. Pre-order for the Max 360 is available via GoPro Malaysia's official Shopee store at a special price of RM1,949 until 11 April 2025. It should be noted that the company also offered it at an even lower price of RM1,799, but this was only applicable to the first 50 customers. Outside of this pre-order promotion, the 360-degree action camera will retail at RM2,339. (Source: GoPro Malaysia [Shopee] ) Source link
