GreenPal: GreenPal app launches in Roanoke connecting homeowners with mowing services

ROANOKE, Va. ( WFXR ) - With more homeowners searching for professionals to hire for their lawn care services, one app is on the market to make the search easier. On April 2, GreenPal launched in Roanoke, allowing residents to connect with local, vetted lawn care professionals. The Nashville-based company allows homeowners to find and hire lawn care professionals who have been pre-screened. "After successfully launching in 250 other markets, we are excited to help homeowners in Roanoke find reliable, safe, and local lawn care," said co-founder Gene Caballero . Uber deploys rides with car seats for kids The company says homeowners can list their lawns with their service date and lawn care needs. Professionals can then bid on the properties based on Google Street, aerial images, and details provided by the homeowner. After the bid, the owner can then select who they want to work with based on the vendor's rating, price, and reviews. GreenPal's technology allows local owners to order "contactless" services for the same or the next day. Over 50,000 landscaping specialists running the businesses on GreenPal.
