It's been quite an exciting and busy time for Cookie Chips! Just as we're launching our spiffy, new online store (have you checked it out yet?!), we were given the opportunity to be featured on ABC's Good Morning America Deals and Steals segment last Thursday morning. They put all six tasty Cookie Chips flavors-Original, Chocolate Chip, Sea Salted Peanut Butter, Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip, Cinnamon Sugar and Oatmeal Raisin-in a starring role with four other deliciously decadent gourmet snacks and sweets, and sliced all of the prices in half. We like to think they saved the best (us) for last!Good Morning America is big time and we knew it would hopefully lead to the highest influx of traffic and orders that our site, new or old, had ever experienced. But because the new Cookie Chips website is still just a baby, we were a little unsure about how it would handle such a big boost.Luckily, we've partnered up with Bigcommerce, who has helped us make sure our website is stable, quick-loading and doesn't crash-even during a big event like Good Morning America. The show brought us more than 5,000 visitors and led to more than 1,000 orders of Cookie Chips that day.
