hazmasters: Wesco to acquire Canadian safety products company

Wesco International Inc. announced Monday it has entered into an agreement to acquire Hazmasters Inc., a Canada-based distributor of safety products serving the industrial, construction, commercial, institution and government markets. The sale, between Hazmasters and Wesco's wholly owned Canadian subsidiary, Wesco Distribution Inc., is expected to close in March. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
