The Rock advanced to the semifinals by defeating the Soo Eagles 4-2 in their best-of-seven quarter-final series, while the Lumberjacks swept the Powassan Voodoos 4-0 in theirs. Action in the best-of-seven affair begins at the Claude Larose Recreation Centre, on Friday, at 7:30 p.m. Hearst will also host Game 2 at the Claude Larose Recreation Centre, on Saturday, at 7:30 p.m. From there, the series shifts to the McIntyre Arena, with the Rock having home ice for Game 3 and Game 4, on Monday, April 7, and Tuesday, April 8. Both of those meetings will begin at 7 p.m. If needed, Game 5 is slated for the Claude Larose Recreation Centre on Friday, April 11, at 7 p.m. Should a sixth contest be required, it will be played at the McIntyre Arena on Monday, April 14, at 7 p.m. A Game 7, if necessary, will be played at the Claude Larose Recreation Centre on Tuesday, April 15, at 7 p.m. The winner will take on either the Greater Sudbury Cubs or Soo Thunderbirds for the Copeland Cup - McNamara Trophy in the 2025 NOJHL championship series.
