Rhonda Moffitt stepped down as president and chief operating officer of the Hospice of the Piedmont last week. The move comes seven months after Moffitt, then the president and CEO of Hospice of Randolph County, helped lead the two hospice organizations through a merger. Hospice of Randolph merged with the Hospice of the Piedmont in October. The new company assumed the Hospice of the Piedmont name, and Hospice of Randolph functions as an affiliate.
