Ingresso Group: Fandango Buys Brazilian Online Ticket Firm, Ingresso

Los Angeles-based online movie ticketing and information site Fandango said Friday morning that it has acquired Ingresso, Brazil's largest online ticketing firm. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Ingresso was previously owned by B2W Companhia Digital. Ingresso is based in Rio de Janeiro. Fandango said it was advised by The Raine Group and G5 Evercore in the deal. Ingresso offeres up mobile movie ticketing, as well as ticketing services for concerts, soccer games and cultural events. Fandango said the deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year.
