Insight Enterprises has secured a significant Licensing Reseller and Support Services (LRSS) contract with the South Australian government. The agreement covers Microsoft licensing and subscriptions under the state's enterprise and academic agreements, along with essential support, including licence reconciliation and advisory services for other software solutions.The LRSS contract is set to run for an extended period, covering all South Australian public authorities. "We are committed to equipping South Australian government agencies with the resources they need to thrive in an ever-evolving landscape," Insight SVP and APAC managing director Mike Morgan said.A spokeswoman for the South Australian government added it was committed to partnering with industry to provide agencies with the tools and services needed to deliver innovative and secure digital services.Insight has previously collaborated with the South Australian Department for Education and Microsoft to introduce EdChat, an AI-powered chatbot designed to enhance students' learning experiences.Delivered in November 2023, EdChat uses Azure OpenAI and included participation from eight schools for the trial that spanned 1,500 students and 150 educators.Insight has previously attained all seven Microsoft Solutions Partner designations, showcasing its technical expertise and specialising in 22 areas, to provide advanced services and solutions that leverage analytics and AI.
