Insightful Science: Insightful Science Acquires Omiq

San Diego-based Insightful Science, a developer of scientific discovery software, said this week that it has acquired OMIQ, a provider of software-as-a-service for high dimensional flow cytometry. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. According to Insightful Science, the addition of OMIQ will expand its offerings in flow cytometry software solutions. The company is led by CEo Thomas Swalla, and backed by private equity investor Insight Partners.
