IQzone: IQzone's 'Postitial' mobile ad service grows 760 per cent

IQzone is the mobile ad specialist behind Postitial; the company's flagship Android product that bypasses the common in-app advertising method by sending ads to devices once an app has been closed. The idea is that the end of a session marks a natural break and is less intrusive for the user, thus allows publishers to generate more revenue through better engagement and targeting.Seemingly the juicy figures are rather enticing to partners, as IQzone says Postitial impressions grew by 760 per cent in Q4 2013 as more developers adopt the tech. The firm has made a number of new hires in crescent weeks to support the increased business, with Patrick Pettay the VP and head of global sales, joining from mobile ad network InMobi where he was director of advertising and head of app developer business development.Pettay, said: "This is a completely novel solution, which will undoubtedly shape the mobile advertising industry for the future. Postitial is performing at three to five times the industry average in eCPM, so I am delighted to be joining a thriving business, revolutionising the mobile advertising space, and working with an excellent team among key players from the mobile world."
