UPMC has gotten the go-ahead to acquire the Jameson Health System in New Castle. Terms of the deal with the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office include the requirement that UPMC keep all insurance contracts that Jameson has through the end of their expiration and continue to contract for 10 years if the health plans want that.
