Jones Energy: E&P co. backed by Houston-based energy PE firm to buy Austin's Jones Energy

Oklahoma City-based Revolution Resources, a portfolio company of Houston-based private equity firm Mountain Capital Management LP, is acquiring Austin-based Jones Energy, which emerged from bankruptcy in May. Revolution II WI Holding Company LLC will pay about $201.5 million in cash for Jones Energy II Inc., according to a press release.
