This is a 3D printed iPhone 4 Case I designed and have been beta testing for a few weeks. The 3d modeling was done with Autodesk Inventor. Then the 3d model was uploaded to Shapeways.com where I order this print made. I waited about two weeks for the phone case to arrive in the mail. The material used is Strong and Flexible Plastic. Overall I have a great impression of the level of precision that is possible with this material. The finish feels velvety to the touch because it is very porous. This print was made to test durability, ergonomic feel, and function. I'm only a few minor adjustments away from done.
