I challenged myself in this "Paint an Apple in 10 Minutes" lesson and challenge you too. Great lesson for loosening up, observation, practicing brushstrokes and color! 1- I placed an apple on a table in the sun with colored paper under it. 2- I painted 4 different underpainting colors in squares. 3- I set my timer to 10 minutes and painted the apple. 4- Then I rotated the apple and put a different colored paper under the apple for 3 more 10 minute studies.
