I tried something new to me but not for many artist; the result, a wonderful surprise. I took an old painting that I didn't care for and scraped the thick paint off and then lightly sanded the rest of the canvas. Then I put on a light coat of Liquin, followed by painting as usual over this. I was pleasantly surprised at the affect that occurred: bits of the old poked through the new.
