Keyes Packaging: Keyes Packaging Group hires Wolter

Wenatchee, Wash-based Keyes Packaging Group has hired Suzanne Wolter as vice president of sales and marketing. Wolter, who was at Rainier Fruit for 13 years and also and had a marketing position at Evans Fruit in Washington state, will provide Keyes Packaging a perspective to help it serve the fruit industry, according to a news release."Suzanne's breadth of industry knowledge and extensive relationships will allow for a smooth transition into this executive role focused on our core accounts," Ted Kozikowski, Keyes Packaging Group CEO, said in the release. "We are well positioned now to explore additional emerging markets."The company has invested in facilities in recent years, contributing to increased capacity and new product development, according to the release. Rising demand for responsible food and beverage packaging is driving interest in environmentally friendly products produced and marketed by Keyes, according to the release."I'm excited to join a company with a long history producing socially responsible products," Wolter said in the release. "I'm confident our industry has reached a tipping point for packaging and thrilled to help bring new solutions to market."Wolter will work from the company's Wenatchee headquarters and Yakima facilities, according to the release.She was marketing director at Rainier Fruit before launching FreshFit Solutions in 2015, offering sales and marketing support to producers and suppliers.
