Kool Pak purchased the trucks and leases them to independent Owner-Operator drivers who own their own businesses and supplement the Kool Pak team of drivers. Safely transporting frozen and chilled food products requires reliable equipment to protect shipments throughout the distribution process, especially during summer months. The purchase of the Volvo trucks eliminated the high operation and maintenance costs of the 2011 fleet of trucks, while also preventing breakdowns, unnecessary down time, financial hardship and potential customer service issues.
