On November 21, National Adoption Day, we were treated with an abundance of adoption stories all over television. The Today Show aired live adoption ceremonies, and local television stations featured the forming of forever families across the country. One of those families, the Stones, was able to share their joy with viewers in Little Rock as they officially added little Remie to their clan alongside a dozen other foster-turned-forever families. (Click here to watch the story that aired on KARK 4 News.) The Stones also wanted to mark their occasion with a family portrait - now that's my kind of family! They found out about Red Thread Sessions through a friend and contacted me about getting a portrait of the seven of them. Their three boys were tiny the last time they had a family portrait done, and they've since added two daughters to the mix, so it was about darn time!FIVE gold stars for these kids who put up with a crazy cold morning and gave me some smiles through their chattering teeth!
