TALLAHASSEE - Politically connected LifeScience Solutions received a lucrative no-bid contract from the state to build and manage a warehouse for the Florida Division of Emergency Management's hurricane response needs. The Florida Cabinet unanimously voted without discussion to buy 40 acres in Auburndale along Interstate 10 for the project, which the Legislature approved in this year's regular legislative session.
