Logistics Management Solutions: Transplace Buys Logistics Management Solutions

Dallas-based transportation management and logistics company Transplace has expanded its footprint in North America, and has acquired fellow third party logistics company Logistics Management Solutions, the companies said Wednesday. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. LMS was advised by Raymond James & Associates in the deal. According to Transplace, the buy will help grow the company and expand its presence in such key verticals as the chemical industry. LMS was founded in 1996, and was based in Missouri.
