LTX: Chicago firm buys Atlanta freight company

An Atlanta-based freight company has been acquired. LTX Solutions, which provides freight management and transportation supply chain services, has been acquired by Chicago-based Redwood Logistics. The deal gives Redwood a foothold in the Southeast. Redwood said it plans to continue to invest in LTX's current management team to increase its presence in the region.
