©Lynda Bowyer Photography For the moment, it's super-convenient that I live in such a close proximity to London - just over 30 miles to be precise. As the month of October got underway, I was excited to document an amazing Diwali celebration hosted by the Mayor of London's office. Set in Trafalgar Square, some tens of thousands of people packed into the event area over the course of the day to sample a host of foods, music, fashion and dance.©Lynda Bowyer Photography Documenting the London Diwali 2015 festival had me leaving the event with a huge smile on my face - a stark contrast to some of the darker social and political stories which I tend to cover quite a bit of lately.
