MacLean Power Systems: MacLean Power Systems closing Birmingham facility, laying off workers

MacLean Power Systems will be closing its Birmingham facility and will layoff 75 employees in the process, according to a notice filed by the company. The South Carolina-based insulation and hardware production company will close its Birmingham operation, at 1500 Red Hollow Rd., by Oct. 31. According to AL.com, the company is moving its Birmingham operations to its facility in Trenton, Tenn.
